WELCOMING FALL

Fall is a fantastic time of year to welcome over family and friends. If you’re like me then the outside of your home has to be as inviting as the inside. It’s basically a reflection of what the inside looks like.

I like to greet my guests the moment they enter my property!! I designed this WELCOME CENTER so that guest would be greeted immediately. I simply placed a vintage door against an old tree at the end of my driveway. Then, I stacked sandstone rocks around it and filled it with mulch and flowers. Ofcourse we added a WELCOME SIGN!!

I love to switch out the decor in this space with every new season. For Fall I went with a scarecrow. You can see how I build my scarecrows HERE!!!

Next, we gave the scarecrow a pitchfork and added mums, pumpkins (in various shapes and sizes), cornstalks and some ornamental kale. I love using old vintage metal buckets and vintage fruit baskets to place mums inside. For more tips you can also check out my HOW TO DECORATE OUTDOOR SPACES !!!
