5 Things I’m Crushing On
Although summer is my favorite season, and I’m super sad to see it start to wind down *tears*, I also really love the end of every season. It allows us a second to reflect and think about the last season. As I have started to reflect on this summer, I realized that there were 5 things I have been crushing on hard core. And, since you are my friend, I wanted to share those 5 things! So here are the 5 things I’m crushing on this summer!
1. Crocks
I have been in love with crocks for forever! They are probably one of the things I am most known for honestly. I love finding little baby ones and stacking them! Making use of vertical space is one of my key tricks for decorating small spaces;) My kitchen, like the rest of my house, is actually quite small!
2. Black Enamelware
I love the chippy look of antique enamelware. I always love finding vintage enamelware at antique stores, but if you can’t find those, you can find replicas at great stores like farmhousewares.com!
3. Bowls
Have you ever thought about using bowls for more than just eating food? They actually make really cute decor! Again, I love anything that can stack, and I REALLY LOVE anything that has two uses, so decorate with your bows, Sister!
4. Black and white signs
These black and white signs have been in my kitchen for forever! But I have seriously been crushing on them and on neutrals in general this season!!
You can get a free printable of the Vintage Goods sign in the shop!! It’s from Anchored Signs, and one of my favorites in the whole kitchen!😊
A subcategory of black and white signs that I’m crushing on is black and white vintage farm stand signs! You can check out my whole tutorial for how to DIY one here!!
5. House plants
I think I’m a little late to the house plant game, but I am CRUSHING SO HARD on the house plants right now!!!! I love this little guy. He sits in my kitchen, and I just love looking at him while I drink my morning coffee:)
So those are the 5 things I’m crushing on now! As we transition into fall, I’m also really glad that most of these pieces can transition with me! Crocks, black and white signs, black enamelware, bowls and house plants are all pretty classic pieces, which are really what I prefer to stick with😊 Makes it a little easier for me as we transition between the seasons. Even if the transition itself is sad to me. Summer is leaving, my friend, but I know that even in the crazy times we’re in, fall will give us much to look forward to.😊
