Decorating the Greenhouse for Fall
Welcome to the Fall Greenhouse Blog Hop! I hope you have gotten great inspo from all these other AMAZING ladies and are encouraged to know that greenhouses aren’t just for the spring!:)
It’s Fall and that means the greenhouse needs an updated look. But decorating for every holiday can be pricey!!! How can we maximize our Fall decor!?
When I think of Fall I think of all of the beautiful colors. I like to choose a color combination and stick with that throughout my outdoor decor.
Orange pumpkins are some of the cheapest pumpkins that you can buy. They are also the easiest to find!! I got these at Walmart!! Buy lots of orange pumpkins to fill in larger spots and to save yourself money!
A grouping of smaller orange pumpkins can also fill a space, or a larger vessel, like this wheelbarrow or this antique French lavabo sink.
Next, hunt down those visually interesting pumpkins and gourds. You can usually find them at your local pumpkin patch or garden center. I chose green and orange varieties. Some have bumps, others have interesting stripes. I also look for beautiful long stems!!
Remember to look for pumpkins that have lots of visual interest from every angle!! Placing pumpkins on their sides can help to break up the pumpkin monotony and it’s more visually appealing.
Cornstalks are usually very cheap and come in large bundles. They are great to group together or use as a wreath. I have a tutorial on that HERE!
It’s a greenhouse so don’t forget to pick up flowers!! You can plant garden mums and decorative cabbage in your containers. We love these Ole garden containers!!
Mums come in so many beautiful color choices. Again, I like to stick with a color theme. The cabbage adds an extra layer of texture to the vignette.
I hope this gave you some simple, practical inspo on how to make your fall decor stretch! I know that everyone’s wallets are feeling a little tighter this year, but there are still PLENTY of ways to make your home cozy, welcoming and beautiful without going over budget!! I hope this causes you to enjoy the colors of fall and your home a little bit more:)
Again, thank you for checking out my blog, and I hope you’ve enjoyed the blog hop!! I would love to hear what you liked from my post or from all the other lovely ladies below:)
