Emergency Space

Living in a small home means having to find our emergency space. Whether it’s for a new vintage find, or a visiting child during the holidays, we always seem to need the extra space.

When Thanksgiving came this year we received the terrific news that multiple kids were coming home for the holiday. While this is exciting it can also be stressful. We needed to find affordable furniture and some extra space fast!!

The only extra room we have is our office. The office not only has my small desk in it, it also has my husband’s large desk, computer and gaming system. There isn’t a lot of extra room in-between the two desks. However, we did have this unused window nook.
