Best Flea Markets in Southern Illinois!!!

Have you guys been keeping up with all my junk?! Or, should I say, my junk haul?;) The hubby and I have taken a short little vacation and hit some of my FAVORITE flea markets around the Midwest! We hit my favorites in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio! This man really does love me. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve been sharing my haul on my instagram stories! I realized something as I was shopping though; I’ve told you guys how to find treasures at a flea market, but I haven’t told you about all the good flea markets in southern Illinois!!! There are sssssooooo many good ones in southern IL, and they deserve a shout out:) So, all my southern IL/southwestern Indiana/western Kentucky Gals, here is a list of the best flea markets in southern Illinois!

The Big Red Barn is in Raleigh, IL, and is actually owned by my cousin! That’s not why he made the list though! Promise:)

Best Flea Markets In Southern Illinois

  • Big Red Barn – Raleigh, IL
  • White Cotton Antiques – Marion, IL
  • Blues Junk Fest – Creal Springs, IL
  • Country Lane Treasures – Creal Springs, IL
  • Vienna Town Square Mall – Vienna, IL
  • Shawnee Hills Antique Mall – Harrisburg, IL
  • Milk Maid – Vienna, IL
  • Rosebud Antique Mall – Herrin, IL
  • Gathered Comforts Barn Sales – Metropolis, IL
  • Friends & Co – Metropolis, IL
  • Magpie Market – Marion, IL

I’m ALWAYS down for a road trip, but when I don’t have the time or extra cash for one, I love knowing that I don’t have to leave home to find some beautiful items. ๐Ÿ™‚

When most people hear Illinois, they think of Chicago. (Which is where Dempsey lives now, so I won’t rag on it too much;)) But there is a whole rest of the state that is actually mountainous and beautiful!! We live right in the middle of the Shawnee National Forest, or Garden of the Gods, as it’s commonly called. We’re a little hidden part of the country, but in terms of beauty, I think we outrank a lot of other, bigger places:) I think that this list of hidden gems in our hidden part of the state is a great reflection of that. Small in space, and possibly reputation, but big in the value it has to offer your home.

Milk Maid in Vienna, IL:)

So, the next time that you’re in need of that perfect antique for that one little corner or you are looking for your next big refurbish project, don’t wait for the next big market. Go check out these lovely spots right in our backyard:) And for those of you that don’t live close to southern Illinois, I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite spots from around the country soon. Stay tuned!;)

Thank you so much! We live in Grayville โ€“ also in So. Illinois. The Big Red Barn is the only one on the list we have actually been to. I will certainly have to check these out!!

Iโ€™m so happy to see that you included Friends & Company in Metropolis! I live less than a block from there and spend entirely too much money lol. If you check out Metropolis, you will find lots of lovely shops on Market street including 606 Market (another one of my faves).

We use to go to the Duquion Fair Grounds the first Monday of the month for the Duquion Flea…I haven’t been in more than 10 years, wonder if they still have it? I use to find the best vintage and antiques there! Thanks for the list, I will check them out next time I visit my parents!
