Feed Your Soul

This recipe is great to make, and take, to a sick friend.

While our noodles are resting we are going to start on our soup.

Ingredients for chicken noodle soup

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 2 celery stalks diced
  • 3 carrots diced or 1 cup sliced
  • 2 quarts chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 4 cups rotisserie chicken
  • fresh parsley diced

Recipe for chicken noodle soup

Melt butter in a large stock pot. Add diced onions and cook for about 5 mins. Add celery and carrots and cook for another 5 mins. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Turn down the soup to a simmer. Slowly add noodles. Simmer for 20 mins. Add chicken and simmer for another 5 mins. Sprinkle with diced parsley and serve with a side of biscuits, or french bread loaf.

    looks delicious, have you ever bought Better Than Bouillion in a jar , it is nice to have on hand when you need chicken, beef , or turkey broth , It lasts a long time for me and I dont have to bring home cans or boxes of chicken,or beef broth
