Ingredients for easy pan biscuits

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 6 Tbsp lemon lime soda
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Dried Parsley
  • Dried Basil
  • 3 Tbsp butter melted, divided

Recipe for easy pan biscuits

Mix all of the ingredients (except for butter) with a fork to form a soft dough. Separate the dough in half. Pinch off dough and roll into balls. Each half will make 10 balls. 20 biscuits total. Place dough balls in a prepared round cake pan. Let the sides touch. Spread half of the melted butter on top of the dough balls. Bake 425ยฐ for 15 mins. Spread the other half of the butter onto hot biscuits when they are done.

These tiny biscuits are dangerously good!!

Like I said, simple, right?! Simple AND nourishing!! There really is nothing better than a slow winter day with a good chicken and noodle soup and a warm biscuit. And that’s what I’m learning in this stage of life. That sometimes the things that aren’t fast and flashy are the things that are the most valuable–just like soup on a cold day.
