The Ultimate Curly Hair Guide

The one thing I get asked about more than anything else isn’t home decor, instagram tips or even recipes! The thing I get asked about the most is my hair! I get asked from friends, family and followers how in the world I 1) either get my hair that curly or 2) how I manage such curly hair. The answer to #1 is quite simple: it’s all natural!! My hair has just always been this curly. The answer to #2 is also pretty simple, but managing this mane does take a little bit of work. Today, I wanted to share with you my ultimate curly hair guide in hopes that I might have some insight in how to help you manage your mane;)

Ultimate Curly Hair Guide

  1. Wash with Pantene Curl Perfection Shampoo and Conditioner
  2. Keep wrapped in towel for at least 30 minutes
  3. While still slightly damp, I spray in Healthy Sexy Hair Tri Wheat leave in conditioner
  4. Comb with wide tooth comb
  5. Apply Vavoom Forming Gel throughout
  6. Lightly spray with Tresemme Curl Locking Finishing Spray
  7. Dry hair upside down with diffuser while scrunching
  8. Flip hair/head back over and style with fingers using a little more Tresemme finishing spray.

“That’s why her hair is so big. It’s full of secrets.”

Damian, Mean Girl

And that is all the “secrets” to my ultimate curly hair guide!! That’s what I do most days out of the week to maintain this crazy mane:) I do wash my hair most days out of the week, which I know is a little bit of an unpopular opinion right now, but I definitely need to to keep this mane from getting too wild!

As wild as my hair can get sometimes, and as seemingly difficult as having curly hair can be, I really love my hair. I also really love that it’s the thing that I get asked about the most! My hair is a huge part of me. (It’s not huge due to any secrets I promise;) You know I’m an open book!!) I know that hair is a huge part of many of our lives though and can be a huge point of pride or pain. That, and the many questions about it, is what spurred me to share this guide! I would love to hear your experience with this guide! Here’s to many good hair days!:)
